Guidance on Dealing with Black Blue Smoke Coming out of Doosan DH220LC-V Engine and Oil Leakage From the Turbocharger and Oil Dipstick

  This article introduces how to deal with black blue smoke coming out of the doosan DH220LC-V engine and oil leakage from the turbocharger and oil dipstick.

1. Inspection essentials Inspection essentials are as follows: 

a. Remove the intake pipe and muffler from the turbocharger and check that the axial clearance and radial clearance of the turbocharger spindle are normal.

b. The fault phenomenon is analyzed as excessive pressure inside the crankcase causing oil to escape from the oil dipstick and turbocharger.   

 

c. Remove the lower exhaust pipe and breather, and find out that the cause of the fault is inside the engine.

d. When the engine was disassembled and inspected, it was found that the fifth generation was painfully worn and the fifth cylinder connecting rod was worn out. 


2. Reason: 

 Due to the eccentric wear of the piston due to the wear of the small tiles, the mixture in the cylinder enters the crankcase and causes the oil to escape from the oil dipstick and turbocharger.  

 3. Solution: Replace the damaged parts and it will be OK.

This article describes how to install the DoosanDX340LC crawler excavator oil tank Doosan Diagnostic Tool UVIM Support Doosan Excavators High Quality 1. Install two 12 mm eyebolts in threaded holes (38 and 39, Figure 13). Using a      suitable lifting device, sling eyebolts. 2. Set fuel tank (1, Figure 13) into position. Install six bolts (8) and spacers (13) finger tight, to secure tank to frame. NOTE: The clear level gauge on the side of the tank is easily damaged. Be careful of obstacles and wind gusts. 3. Install shims (9, Figure 13) as needed to prevent tank (1) from rocking or stress from mounting bolts (8). 4. Tighten mounting bolts (8, Figure 13) after shims are installed. NOTE: Bolt torque is 27 kg•m (200 ft lb). 5. Connect wires as tagged to fuel sender (2, Figure 14) on side of fuel tank (1). 6. Using a suitable lifting device, attach slings to four lift points on top of cabin (Figure 7). NOTE: Cabin weighs approximately 290 kg (639 lb). 2. Lower cabin into position on cabin floor. 3. Install four mounting nuts on four corners of cabin floor (2, Figure 9). NOTE: Mounting nut torque 20.2 kg•m (146 ft lb) 4. Install four hex bolts (3, Figure 9) in door side of cabin floor. 5.
