   How to Remove/ Replace DOOSAN  440 Plus，460 Series，470 Plus SKID STEER LOADER Engine Oil Filter
1， Draining Engine Oil

Remove the four bolts from the access plate locat- ed on the left bottom corner of the

 chassis. Remove the drain plug by either reaching through the opening between the 

radiator and the chassis or through the access plate. Drain oil into an approved waste 

oil receptacle. Inspect drain plug gasket and if serviceable, replace drain plug.

If gasket is deformed or torn, replace gasket and re-install drain plug. Discard oil in 

accordance with local environmental rules and regulations.

2 Remove/ Replace Engine Oil Filter

Raise and secure operators cab.

Filter is located on left side of engine block.

Using a strap type or other style filter wrench, remove the engine oil filter. Before 

installing new filter, coat the rubber gasket on the filter with clean oil.

Install filter BY HAND and tighten until gasket

fully contacts the mounting surface.

Tighten 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn, by hand only.

  This article mainly introduces how to replace the Doosan DA-30-5 truck filter   2023.07 Doosan DMS-5 Data Monitoring System Diagnostic Software NOTE ： Avoid spillage and   use a su itable container.   Used fuel   must be disposed of as speciied   in   nationaI   and   inter-   national   law   1. Unscrew   the   fi lter   cover   with   a   closed   tool   with   hexagon driver , e.g. socket , so   as   not   to   damage   the   fi lter   cover . 2. Lift   out   the   fi lter   cover   and   fi lter   element .   The   fi lter   housing will drain automatically.   This applies only   if the fuel   tank   is lower than the engine.
